I wanted to write about this story because it touched me deeply after seeing it tonight.

Ben Breedlove 18, died on Christmas Day of a heart condition called hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. He had a YouTube site where he posted tons of videos. One that made a huge impact on many people was this one entitled "This Is My Story". In it Ben shares his story about battling his disease only showing some flash cards with written messages on them while music played in the background. He talks about cheating death three times and seeing a "big bright white light" and feeling at great peace. The last time before he passed on December 6, while he was going into cardiac arrest, he had the same feeling as before at great peace while standing in a huge white room with his favorite rapper Kid Cudi. They were both in suits and the rapper put his hand on his shoulder while his song Mr. Rager played. Then the part where "when will the fantasy end and heaven begin" came on and he told him to go now. At that moment he woke up CPR being performed on him. The video ended with Ben asking us "Do you believe in God and angels? I do." The video has gone viral and has inspired many other videos from other people.

Morning Caroline.

I have a friend that is over 50 years who had a twin sister that was taken from him at the young age of 17. From that day on he never believed in god or the church.

I wonder what Ben's parents are thinking about as their son that was also taken from them so young.

Very sad.
